The quickest way to mediocrity or worse (less) is to do what most people do, taking the easy road and the "short cuts" in life that are all too common. In this way they are taking what are called "The path of least resistance" (easy) and also "The expediency factor" (fast and easy).
To quote Brian Tracy "...most people do what is expedient, what is fun and easy rather than what is necessary for success."

There is seldom anything in the Kingdom that starts big! God is ALWAYS found in small things. God hides Himself in the mundane - in the quiet thing. When we embark on the journey of self discipline, it will be almost unnoticable. Brian racy started with little education, working hard labor, but started on his journey when he asked the question, "Why are some people more successful than other?"

What are some of the things at Tracy list as why we should read this book? Think about this, and then post what your personal motives are for reading this book. Is is becuase Coach Mike suggested that you read it, or do you have your own motives for reading it? Why did you take the time and talent to buy and read this book?

Personally I am reading the book to ‘tighten’ up areas in my life some that are known and some that are unknown. Be reading books like this I get practical ‘how to’s’ along with exposure to new ideas and strategies to win in many areas of my life.
