Take a few moments to respond here - Chapter 5
Summary : I enjoyed this chapter as it seems to focus on execution. In the Fleshing It Out section here are my thoughts.

1. Showing up Every Day - Coming prepared is the key. Practically speaking sowing up prepared. Something to capture notes on, homework, reading assignments completed and anticipating the next step is the key to walking in excellence.

2. Keep improving - Better everyday better every way. Making incremental adjustments on a daily basis is the key. Having a daily growth mindset is engaging.

3. Follow Through with Excellence - Seeing yourself executing at the top with excellence is engaging and compelling.

4. Accomplish More than Expected - Having the can do mindset of pushing the limit and exceeding expectations.

5. Inspire Others - Increasing the excitement. No man left behind!!

1. This chapter was very helpful to unpack a lot of misconceptions on what Competence really is.

2. One notable quote was: the early bird gets the worm, but it’s only the crumbs of those that get there first.

I truly enjoyed this chapter on competence! It was very knowledgeable and had a lot of good takeaways and nuggets.

I also enjoyed the piece on accomplish more than expected and pushing your limit because we will have those rough days where it is tough to find that can do spirit, so being willing to find it during those times is a true testament to your leadership
