In the times in my life when was just drifting, I realize now that the lack of commitment to anything was detrimental to my life.  I have had a few times in my life where I have had great commitment.  My children were the most obvious.  A few years ago, I finally committed myself to God. That change in my world has been amazing, astounding, and at times difficult.  But this relationship with God is so worth it.
